Is the green screen still under construction?

I was one of the ones who said "give it time, this stuff is a long work in process". But it seems any meaningful progress in improvements has stopped in the last couple months. From noon until about 7 pm the site is basically inaccessible.

That said, I sold a pack a couple weeks ago on here. Great transaction, and glad so many good folks are still on here.

I’ve been lurking on other forums and all though they are lightening fast, the content just isn’t the same as here but with the hunting aspect there is so much more involvement but I credit that to much much easier and faster forums = more involvement ! In the past 5 months though, a lot of the old schoolers on here have either completely quit or just aren’t interested any more- or so it seems! The younger crowd are a lot more ADD and move on to the next forum fairly quickly! For the most part I trust the classifieds but recently there have been more bad dealings on there so I’m personally getting Leary of it and ask a lot more questions before purchasing or selling and I don’t want to be that way! This forum will not run my life and if it fails it definitely won’t be the end of the world ! There has Been so much wisdom and knowledge at TBH and plenty of people willing to help others in need! I would FIRE this new super awesome tech they brought in last week and put the sponsors donations to a much better use before we start losing them!

This is what happens when you try to fix a problem that no one knows exists. Talatalk was lightning fast and 50x the user experience. This “web based” site is terrible to navigate. If they wanted to kill the site why not just turn out the lights instead of killing it slowly

it would be nice to just have an answer as to whether this is it, or if they're still working on it. admittedly I haven't been on much either, but I haven't seen anything lately from the boss or any mod's, maybe i missed it.

What was weird is i was griping about this when everyone else was saying it wasnt that slow. Then last week sometime i got on and it was hauling butt. Now it back to snail speed. So bad i give up after just trying to read 1-2 threads. Its sad when you get excited the thread only has 1 page so you can read it all. If its got 2-3 pages i jump to the last one or just give up.

Ive talked to several of my friends that USE to enjoy being on this site. They as I, have elected to barely come here much anymore due to the slow speed of connection rate. This new texasbowhunter is slow and seems like a watered down version. I spend much of my online time elsewhere now adays.

Possibly someone like Mary or Michael will speak up and let us know what’s going on behind the scenes. I’ve been through a few of these in my life time and they are not fun. But I as some of you I have lost interest in dealing with the slowness.
