Drone Deer Recovery - Thermal

Was messing around on YouTube and found a guy that does Thermal drone deer recovery. Is this legal to use in Texas? I have no need for this service right now. I guess my second question is , if this service was available to be used in Texas would you use it.

A drone could never replace an experienced tracking dog. There are some folks in Oklahoma working drones for recovery efforts and several times a dog came after the drone searched and found the dead deer. I haven't yet heard of a drone finding a dead deer after a dog failed to recover.

On a fresh kill a drone with quality thermal will find. The next day or 4-5 hrs after and dog will be a better option. I was in a helicopter and could see small mammals
