    Bow Value

I inherited a couple of bows and I was seeing what their value might be. I don't really bowhunt due to shoulder problems so I don't know what to do with them. They did come with 2 really nice hard cases.

    1. Hoyt Ultratec. Rigged out. In amazing shape. I can get more info if needed.

    2. Buckmasters bow. All rigged out and in great shape.

I can send pics if anyone can help me out.

I am thinking about doing a "pay it forward" with the Buckmasters bow, if anyone knows a kid looking to get into bowhunting.

I never like putting a value on someone stuff, but the Hoyt is possibly a 2003-2005 model. Basically both bows have a value of little to nothing. The case and accessories might hold some value to someone. The pay it forward idea sounds like a great way to go if you have no skin in the game. Now if they are skb cases or something, they might have some cash value

Might be able to take advantage of some chump that’ll overpay for them. Kinda your motto huh?

I am in the 'pay it forward' voting group, but I will say - with older model bows, the % letoff, draw length, draw poundage info is key so that it doesn't setup a new bowhunter for poor form. Just also noting that rigged out with 2003 accessories vs 2023 accessories is a different price class too. Ultratecs rigged out on ebay are in the 2-250 range. Buckmasters in the 150ish range. I will say finding someone to buy them is a needle in a haystack. Finding someone to hand them to and saying 'buena suerta' is much easier.

They have virtually zero value. Not a lot of market for 20-30 year old compound bows.
