I have shot one doe in two long weekends of hunting. That's terrible for us. I didn't even take a pic because I figured more animals would get killed.

Not me. I’ve hunted exactly 30 minutes so far this season. Half hour in on my first sit I got a call that my 95 year old mother fell and broke her leg. She lives 5 hours away so I’ve spent a lot of my time since there. Good news (hunting-wise) is according to the cameras the deer have become very comfortable coming in to my sets since there has been no humans around. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to get back in the blind at some point

Got drawn for Granger this year. I got one of my two doe down in my first four sits. I. So busy that I have had no time to hunt. Hopefully I can get my second doe soon and start hunting the biguns.

Yeah, after watching babies for 2 days I misjudged a 3 yo 10-pt last weekend. Legal deer, but not what I was after. Plenty of meat for the freezer at least.
