    Nose jammer

Someone gave me a can of it for Christmas last year. I thought what the heck. Sprayed on my boots and the limbs around me. Smelled like a vanilla wafer. I can still smell it on me. Saw a bunch of deer but they were all upwind so who knows. Anyone use this stuff

I had it with me last year. Did the same, sprayed my boots and clothes and then a quick mist on the interior of the stand. Also had a can of the aerosol Tinks 69.

Saw plenty of deer. But who knows if it was due to the ol’ Nose Jammer.

I was thinking just that. Vanilla and water. High concentration of vanilla. Need to use it a few more times before I can be conclusive

I have been using it as a cover scent for 15 years and I don't really worry about wind direction

It's not a scam it does what it does. Really it just overwhelms the olfactory senses so other smells are minimized. A deer can smell something a long ways off let's say like a loaf of bread. A bear on the other hand can smell all the ingredients in that loaf of bread so probably not as effective there.
As for Hecs, it also is not a scam but proven science. Just like a Farady bag or pouch Hecs blocks those electronic signals that the body gives off. Stuff that we are not sensitive to but animals, some more than others, are.If I have my phone in a Farady pouch and you call, it will not ring nor will it show that you called blocking the signals.
