This is what I currently have, and I really like these boots, but they are no longer made. They have held up to some serious punishment for 10+ years. I have worn them around the house doing yard work, on Aoudad hunts to west Texas, walked many miles in the hill country and wore them as rubber boots, but now they are done.

    Thanks for the info fellas.

I switched from Chips to Twisted X. Really like them.

I wear “Twisted X” boots every day. The lower non snake boots are great for around the house / barn chores.
The twisted x snake proof boots I wore a lot this year in the pasture due to the unusual abundance of rattlers.
        Both are light and comfortable.
I tried on several brands and models at Harry’s in San Saba.
        Twisted X for me

Love my square toe Chips. Well, after they were broken in.

I bought these just to keep at the camp. Light weight and very comfortable, waterproof, look good. I just finished second year with them, slathered again with mink oil last week. If I get two more years out of them it’s a win. I honestly don’t see these not lasting 10 years. I have worn them ten or so times the past two years each.

I have the Chip moc toe with full leather top, I believe they discontinued the leather top however. The moc toe is much more comfortable than their square toe IMO.

I treated mine the same. They're probably 7 or 8 years old. Bought for a sping turkey hunt and walked miles in them

I wear my Chips for at least 8 hours every day and absolutely love them. My son talked me into buying some that were at least a size too big and they slip on and off without having to unzip them.

Most boot and western stores carry Twisted X.

I did a quick search because i was curious about the Justins you mentioned. Looks like you can still get these in a Justin.

And they're on sale here but the website might be questionable.
