Can-Am oil change

I have a Can Am HD-8 Does anyone know why the oil change kits cost so much? 3 quarts of oil and a small filter is nearly $70. That's like $20 per quart for oil. Are there cheaper oils that work just as well?

look in your owners manual to see what they recommend spec wise and find a brand that matches. the filter is almost $20, call a dealer and see what they charge to do the oil change, $70 might be cheaper...

I wasn't blaming this on inflation. Unless all quarts of oil are $15 and up now?
I'll spend the money if this oil is better or needed. I'll check my manual.

Of course it's recommended (by canam) but not needed.
