I’m looking at getting a cam an base system as my stand is about 60-70’ in a valley from service… at my stand I get service it’s 130 yards to pen. No obstructions between the two, for those that have them what grade do you give them I’ve used every other cell cam over the years but never cuddeback. Any tips, tricks, or advice on what I may need to boost my experience thanks guys

Tactacam fixed that for me at a stand I could never get Cudde to send from even with the extended range antenna. From that same tree Tactacam sends reliably with its basic antenna.

I run 10 Tactacams no service, it’s in a low dry River bed that’s about 300 yards wide. One side has a sheer 100+ ft Cliff and the other about 60ish fit of elevation change. I need to be able to pull a pic from the bottom up to ridge line where service is

I run a cuddeback cuddelink system. I have 14 cameras and 6 repeaters. That's on about 900 acres. I have great cell service at 2 spots and ok service at 2-3 others. The cuddelink is the only way I can run all the cameras and have access via cell. The pros are that it works, gives me access to areas without cell coverage, and it seems to get pics of what is there. Two spots hand a Tactacam cell camera as well and pic volume is comparable. The bad things are they eat batteries and it's big d cells, the pic quality you get on your phone is ok but not great, running a big system like that gets finicky, the setup and controls are a little more complicated than most, and it definitely won't cover the range between units that they claim. Overall I have been happy and can't see changing.

Thanks doc! I run tactacams across the rest of my properties, but the cuddelink system is the only realistic way given the elevation changes, 90% low brush sub 4 ft so no obstructions there. 2 spots are sub 150 yards to service and one is .37 miles to hilltop. Any experience with the cudde solar panels?
