Real bummed I’m not in the blind right now, but it’s the weekend before my daughter’s 20th b-day and we’re about to head to Outlaw to set her up with a new Prima then go to lunch. It figures because two of my target bucks are at my feeder right now!

I should have went out this morning. The thermometer read 36, but there is a good coating of ice on the hood of my tractor. I did go buy my statewide and farm tag yesterday so I am legal now. Good luck!!

Finally got my wife excited to get a buck this morning with her crossbow. The north wind kicked up strong and was the first time I ever sat here when no deer came. It was such a nice morning it didn't really matter much but getting her out sometimes takes all the stars to align.

I somehow have the ability to drink a lot of jack daniels and not get hung over. I had alarm set at 830 to get brisket but somehow woke up at 745, and when I checked the brisket it was ready at 203. Glad I woke up early!
