Pregnant dog, snake bit

One of my female JRs got bit today, she is carrying puppies. Any TBHers have any experience with this type situation?

What kind of snake? I've had countless dogs bitten by copperheads with no vet visit required. They all handled it well. I'm not sure how the pregnancy might factor in though.

Yeah, same here. First time for a pregnant dog. No id on snake. It went into a stump hole before I could shoot it

I would call my vet and ask him. Hope your pup gets over it and doesn’t abort.

She bounced back pretty quick yesterday. She was up following my around, wagging her nub-tail....thats always a good sign.
Im curious about that too Draco....seems plausible
