    RAIN finally.

1.2” so far but high winds and some damage from blowing items. Grill, smoker, patio chairs and table. Rain blown thru north facing doors and windows. Raining again right now. Love the rain but not the wind. Never had rain/water blow thru our windows from top to bottom.

We got a good hard rain in Lee Co. last night. Lot’s of thunder and lightening, too. We saw lightening strike something outside our window last night. One light pole is out so I suspect that’s what it was. Waiting for the sun to come up to inspect for damage. Thank goodness it was raining hard enough that nothing caught fire.

My gauge is showing about the same. Hair over an 1”. We didn’t get much wind here. Pretty good light show! But no wind damage that I’ve noticed

It’s rain on and off here most of the night, I’ll take it. Still getting a slow steady sprinkle and hopefully it will continue. The hummingbirds are very active this morning.

From Georgetown to south Austin right down I35 a 10 mile wide hail core moved through. Pretty bad deal. I watched them before and I've never seen one hold together that long. 2-3"+ . When they put the hail core in motion you could see how it just hour glassed inward as it went by where I live near Toll 130 on Hwy 79. I got really lucky since I was out of town and my truck was out.

I’m now less than 20 miles from home at job site and fruitvale area looks like a war zone. Trees and limbs everywhere. We didn’t get any of the wind

Oh the wind was terrible here, 40+ mph , and only about 3/4 inch, love the rain but the trees lost a bunch of huge limbs
going to be a mess for awhile

Just over an inch in Tomball. Sure would like to have successive days of it.
