Now I know Penn State is not really on the radar down in Texas but I grew up there and LOVE it. My son and I went to the game yesterday. It was my first whiteout. I took my Dad along too. The weather wasn’t great but the rain was just held off enough to make it bearable. Let me tell you, I’ve been to multiple different D1 football games for different schools but there is ABSOLUTELY nothing like a whiteout. The crowd was deafening and the stands literally vibrated. We beat the Heck out of Iowa and I have no voice left at all. If you are a college football junkie go to a whiteout, even if you could care less for PSU. Greatest game experience I’ve ever been to.
