School Me on Bino Chest Harnesses

I've always carried a backpack with a quiver attached but recently put a quiver on my bow because I was sick of my arrows coming off when I would walk through brush. Also, it had gotten to the point to where that was nearly the only reason I brought it other than my bow attached to it (which wears my strings out). I really like the way my bow shoots with the quiver on as well. I do like to have a few thing with me like my binos, rangefinder and a little TP but not enough to justify a backpack. Or maybe it does...
Has anyone found the bino harnesses useful for feeder style hunting? Few hours in the morning/evening? If so what brand? I'm a large man so it would have to accommodate that and a jacket. Any downsides?

I like to have one even for stand hunting because even if I take it off while sitting it's easier and requires less trips taking my stuff to/from the truck.

wouldn't hunt without them, just looked at mine but doesn't have a brand name on it just a logo. I generally take mine off in tree stand and place on a hanger, if in tripod I just keep them on. Becomes 2nd nature mine stay on bino's at all times. Seems like maybe crooked creek may be the brand but i'm sure there are plenty of them

I think i might have called it the wrong thing. I'm looking at the chest pack that keeps you binos enclosed and has an extra pouch for your rangefinder.

I have the Kuiu harness with the rangefinder add-on. I bought the large so it isn’t tight on my binoculars. It has enough space to slide my phone in as well. I like the opening flap on kuiu because it isn’t in the way or loose when open to access the binoculars. I have no complaints.

check out the marsupial gear harness as well. Seems like it might fit your needs and looks well made.

I like my Sitka bino harness. Two side pockets for a rangefinder and whatever else I need to keep handy.

I've had a bunch of them and like the Kuiu the best because of the way it opens away from your chest. The flaps on the ones that open towards you get in the way.

Also if you ride a SxS or a 4-wheeler to the stand it keeps the dust off your binos.

Marsupial seems to be the consensus favorite.

I use a Sitka, and really like it.

I have an Adak in my closet that seems like it would work well, but havnt ever used it.

Do they have extra strap material? I'm 6'3" pushing up on 300#s.

I use a badlands bino pack and I like it. Opens away from you and uses magnets to keep quite, has a place for rangefinder too.

That is how tall I am, and my Marsupial works fine. I got the padded mesh straps. My oldest son and I tried a few and Marsupial was by far our favorite.
That said FHF completely redesigned their bino harness and it looks good to.

I have an outdoor vision that opens away with magnets. I love everything about it, except for the fact that when crawling the lid can snag and Binos come out. I really wish I could take 1 aspect from each company and make my own.

The stone glaciers are held in high regard and I may end up trying one of those as well. Best piece of advice is whatever one you buy, make sure it’s fully enclosed

Badlands has several different ones to choose from and easy to add on rangefinder pouches ect. Love mine and it has a lifetime warranty.

Yes, you'll need to specify that you need and XL harness. The standard harness fits up to a 54" chest.

Marsupial is hands down the best system out there. I've tried just about every brand and model. MG checked every box.
I did do the buckle delete on mine because I carry my handgun and it moved it's carry location exactly where I like it.

You being 6'-3" probably wont need it, but the buckles are cheap, I'd grab them with my order just in case
