I don’t know who to be more disgusted with, the thieves or the car makers, that key fob protectors are even a thing?

      Car makers.

First it was channel locks on the ignition then breaking into a ford and driving off with a butter knife, kias via a usb drive thing. Mopar via lap tops. Its truly gone and 60 seconds out there

Car makers.........But they're in the business of selling cars, so you're on your own.

I had an alarm with a kill switch put on my 2500. Now I can start my truck with my phone and it sends me a message when something happens to it.

My Viper system siren / alarm saved me the first time by pro's in Dallas. The first thing they did was rip the wires out of the GMC horn / alarm. When they jammed a tool in the door lock to open truck and the alarm went off they were caught off guard. In my model year, they opened the console glove box and stole the SD card that has the GMC mapping system to eliminate the tracking. Because the alarm continued they left without my truck. I have also since got the Viper kill switch, messaging, and alternative tracking system app on my phone. Probably does not do any good, but also added the steering wheel locking bar as another deterrent.

Amazes me they would want a 2019 Denali

                      There's different brands.

I tried a couple different ones with our 2018 Durango and 2016 Ram, both could still be unlocked and started from 20' away so I returned them. Now I just bite the bullet and have a Ravelco installed on anything I plan to keep for a while.

About the only way they can take a vehicle with one of those is to drag it away, and they can have it if they go that route.

The shame of it all is that our country is full of effing thieves. They deserve to have their azzes shot off when they get caught, but then the wrong party would probably go to jail or at best be sued by the upstanding, grieving families. I’m glad I live in the sticks !

They can steal the code to the alarm all they want but its not the same fob as the one that starts my truck. And they cant hotwire it because of the starter kill feature.

After reading this and now I'm all freaked out and leaving town for a week in my wife's car. I just pulled my fuel pump fuse out.

I just put a Ravelco on my new truck. My 2017 F350 was stolen three weeks ago and I'm not planning on losing another.
