    Distance between stands?

What would ya’ll say is the minimum distance between stands in the Hill Country area?

We have a 300 yard minimum at our place but we have 5 guys on 500 acres.

We are bow hunting only. With our current restrictions 200 yards would be the closest possible setup.

        300 yards seems reasonable.

300 with at least 500 preferred.

Our rule is 450 yards. I'd prefer more, but you could get away with less. No less than 300 in my opinion.

For safety - no less than 500 yards

For pressure purposes - no less than 1000 yards

Im with codie on this one, safety 500 yds, deer pressure, and to prevent the same deer going from feed spot to feed spot, at least a 1000 yds. We hunt 12 men on 1600 acres and I feel like we are all lumped together.. When I am bowhunting and have deer in front of me and a rifle sounds off from 1/2 a mile a way (according to gps) my der run off or get real spooky!!

We use 300 yards as our minimum. It's pretty thick cover all over and most of us just bow hunt. Lots of times we see the same deer, and during the rut we might see the same buck a mile away from each other.

                            Too many variables to say.

                            Each situation can be unique.
