    Lease locating websites

    Has anyone ever subscribed to any of the deer lease locator websites? If so, are they worth the money or just a rip-off. What are some of the better ones out there? Thanks.

      I joined a couple of them 11 years ago and found my current lease on it!

      Most were day leases or leasing agents who wanted way too much per acre for their places.

      Have to check them daily or you will miss out on fresh listings!

            Pay sites would probably be a much better deal if they didn’t allow brokers to list.

            Who really wants to pay a middle man, just to get to another middle-man…..

            Anyone is allowed to list a property….so it is free advertising for the brokers.

            I would like to see a breakdown of how many broker ads there are; say out of every ten ads listed.

            Ask yourself this….How many LAND OWNERS do you think list their own properties on these types of sites?

            I think it would be a fair assumption that most ranchers are up their in years; and with that said, how many of those fellas do you think have actually listed their own property online; much less even get online?

            Just something to think about……….

            With that said;

            As far as pay sites go...I heard that Scott T @ Deer Texas is a great guy, & runs the best site online.....

              My brother and I are looking to get on a lease together. We haven't hunted together since we were kids and not much then because I'm 10 years older than he is. It doens't have to be a big place. Just a place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We are serious about the hunting and will work to improve and take care of the land. a long term situation would be ideal. We do not need water and electricity or housing. We have that covered. wea re flexible on the price but do not want to go over $1500 per person. We can also find additioanl hunters if need be. Any help would be appreciated.
