I am 77 and understand completely. No scope, no shoot unless the rifle has peep sights as I do just fine with them. Handguns—-tough!!!

Switch to red dots or if you're a iron sight guy like me, buy the glasses with the reader script at the top of the lens as opposed to the bottom. You can maintain the correct head position and alignment and keep shooting. SSP eyewear is the vendor I've used in the past, but there are several in the market these days.

I buy cheap guns and ammo so I can just blame the gun.
