Front end tractor mowers

I am looking at buying a lane shark mower for my tractor. I am curious to if anyone has had any experience with these or similar ones, and if so, which ones along with your thoughts.

I keep trying to talk myself into buying one. Look at the modern ag version as well.

I have installed one at work, mixed thoughts on it. You need to have a direct to tank hyd line for return and buy the control box from them it’ll make it work out better.

It wouldn’t seem that you would get enough hydraulic flow from a tractor to have enough blade power to be very effective.

I have had my Lane Shark form2 years and it is awesome. With Lane Shark no special hydraulic stuff is needed like most of the others, it works perfect off of the tractors remote. I can share some videos but I have no faith in the PM function here now to send a phone number…

I can attest to said videos. The thing is a beast and quite frankly I'd feel better with some form of wind/face shield if you was gonna really get after it hard with one based on said video

I wear safety glasses when using it but rarely get anything back at the tractor and never anything of any size
