I have had them try to land on the pole that holds the mojo up. Land on the ground beside the mojo after I shot and missed! Best thing since sliced bread in my opinion!

I don't think decoys make a bit of difference if you're where the doves eat, drink or roost. Never heard of them being scared of them though either. Been dove huntin for 21 years now and have only used a decoy a few times. I don't feel like I was ever hindered by not having one. Be where the doves are flying and you'll kill a limit in no time. Or you'll shoot at the sky a bunch. One of the two. They're not the smartest birds out there. You don't need a ghillie suit on and three hundred decoys set out to kill em. Heck, if I can't sit on the tailgate of a pickup and kill 15 there ain't enough to be shooting at.

Well, if you are hunting mourning doves in a field they want to be, they will come exactly to your spot within easy shotgun range much more often with Mojos. I actually prefer pass shooting WW’s cause Mojos make shooting mourning doves too easy.

Of course, I have only been dove hunting 55 years.

I used the Mojo but the doves were ignoring them. The majority of the doves were WW and just passing through to roost. Can't say if the Mojo's effected their pattern but they didn't flare and I ended up with 10. (would have been more but I'm a little rusty).

I’ve seen them ruin more hunts for people than help after opening day. People just refuse to pull it up and every bird skirts them. When they work…. They work! But all my experience is after they have seen one the “mojo” is over
