Moultrie M-80 users

Hey guys and gals, I am in the market for a couple of new cams for the lease. whats the general opinion of these cams. battery life, picture qaulity, problems with them that sorta thing

They have good reviews on Chasingame. I have 2 and am very happy with them. Battery life is excellent--picture quality is good and range at night is way better than they advertise. The plot cam feature is neat. I ran one this year on a oat patch in hybrid mode[plot cam in day-trail cam at night] and really liked it.

I have 4 of them and not a problem yet and one is almost a year old. Battery life is good but the the old moultrie I40's had much better battery life with 6 D batteries as apposed to the 8 AA lithium that I use in the M80. I havn't seen a camera with better IR flash then the M80, It actually can be too bright if the animal is close.

Mine worked great up until late December. It then start showing black bars across the screen until it was reset. Sometimes it would take only a few pictures before it happened and other times it would take hundreds. It probably took 4000 pics total before this started happening. I think it had to do with it getting too cold? Not sure.

I have four of them and have really liked them. Battery life is my only complaint.

They work great and have a very long battery life.

I really like mine. The M80 takes very good pictures and covers a bigger area, due to the wide screen format.

I'm about to buy another one.

We put out two at first of year. Over 2000 pics and still have 78% battery life left. We will see.
