I've killed 2, one with a rifle in 05, and another with a bow in 16. Both over 160 in Viejo Mexico.

Not killed but did let a young pencil horn perfect 12 walk on. He later succumbed to the drought in 2011 and died with blue tongue right by a water trough.

I’ve never killed one but I’ve seen two in person. One was a 3.5 year old typical 12 that was killed by a guest of one of our paid lease hunters. To say we were upset was an understatement, the paid hunter was not invited to come back the next year. This buck scored right at 140, he would have had a shot at B&C I believe.

The second one was five years later on the same lease, almost identical to the previous 12 point. We all thought he scored close to 140 and was 3-4 years old. Then we lost the lease that spring, so we didn’t get to see what he became.
