One of my best friends, Mike, does not post much, and he forgets his password regularly! lol! But...he has been a long time member. Many of you have met him as he comes to Bownanza with me often. He has been dealing with some health issues; since July; was jaundiced, peeing orange, . Went to hospital, found he has a growth in his pancreas, bile duct and small intestine...cancerous, but they thought they could remove it safely. Surgery was scheduled for September. Since then his blood pressure dropped precipitously...got that fixed after being air flighted to Tyler. Then he had what they thought was a stoke a few days ago (while still in the hospital). I have been out of town but just found out today that the MRI and CT showed he did NOT have a stroke. As far as I know he now has surgery scheduled Oct 2 to remove his tumor. He needs our prayers for strength to get to his surgery and recovery afterwards.

Father hear our prayers for Mike that this surgery is successful and all cancer is removed and eradicated from his body. Lord we pray that he is comforted and given peace during this time of uncertainty. Father our faith is in You as his healer and comforter and we place all his care under Your divine providence.
