Camping on the Pecos River

We are at my BILS place down at Pandale this weekend. Beautiful area, but dang its hot. River is still flowing well enough to jump in though.

It’s beautiful down there and very hot in September.
Floated the river around 6 times and one year we went in September and I don’t plan on doing that again. It was HOT, sweated really bad at night laying down in the tent, started to cool off around 2 in the morning.
