I am looking for some suggestions for nice Coffee Table books about Hunting Texas, especially deer, quail, working bird dogs, etc, for a Christmas Gift. This is a gift for my Dad who moved from South Texas to NY,want a nice reminder of good ole' South Texas. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Check and see if there is a Half Price Books store close to you. Last year I found some really nice coffee table books on collector guns and antique fishing lures. -
There is one about the King Ranch that Farmdog has that I enjoyed when I go down there. Trophy Rooms Around the World is another good one, but I may be biased since my college roommates dad is in it.

The Valley Land fund also makes a coffee table book from their annual photo contest. Most of the big ranches are well represented and I highly suggest this book... even though it is "all wildlife" and not just deer, javi, etc.
