Sure is hot in this car with no AC!

My wife picked me up at the office around 3:00 and we are headed to round rock to visit the grandkids. 45 minutes in the AC quit blowing cold. 107 degrees but rolling down the highway with the windows down. Her car is only 3 years old- Acura RDX .. hopefully just a fuse/relay. Mighty toasty in here

All you need is some of that good old 60’s vinyl and some wing glass to take you back to the good ole days

Hope you get it fixed. Living in Texas without AC is dangerous.

My 06 Silverado, at least once a day I have to pop the hood and tap on the compressor with a wrench to get it to kick on and have cold air blowing. My wife asked me why I don’t just fix it? I said I fix it every day by hitting it with wrench!

Well we made it to our son’s house in Round Rock. The wife and I both looked like we had run a marathon. I was having flashbacks to my family of five on road trips in the Ford Fairlane in 1964

I35 seems to be hotter than anywhere else…consistently. I know because I roll with no AC always.
That wind off the interstate never cools.
Glad Yall made it safely Jerp.

Most of the 1960's we didn't have a/c. I think it was 69' dad put an aftermarket in the car.

Yikes! That sounds miserable, Jerp. Glad you made it to the grand kids okay and hope it's an easy fix!

The internal combustion engine & AC are the two best inventions ever!!

Some people perspire, I sweat...last time the AC went out, the wife & kids slept with the ceiling fans going. Screw that, I drug a mattress into the man cave & spent the night with the mini-split.

I've always wondered how long it would take the body to acclimate to say if the grid went down, because I would have to hydrate every hour till it did.

Ugh! Must have been like driving down the highway in an oven.

Spray the compressor clutch down with WD40 silicone spray and it will fix that.
