Boat anchor - which one?

I have been using a 16 pound Lewmar Bruce style anchor in Rockport for 10 plus years. They set on the flats faster and better then anything else.

They sell them at Ace in Rockport or you can get them at West Marine.

I'd just toss a mud anchor or or wind sock over the side if you're not trusting power pole. It will help with peace of mind and if nothing else slow it down if its adrift.

I have a 2007 f150 that would qualify as one

We leave our boats at the mercy of West Matagorda Bay South shoreline so it's critical the boat stays put. I did a ton of work and ended up with a Mantus anchor, it's the real deal.
