1st hog for 2 guys!

After getting back from Alaska, I needed to get down to the ranch and fill feeders and a couple of my fellow KOZ leaders volunteered to help. On the way down, I found out neither had ever shot a hog. Which surprised me for one of them because he grew up hunting in Hays County. The other immigrated here several years ago and hasn’t hunted much. The first afternoon, Marc made a perfect head shot from about 60 yards on a sow. The next morning Josh( with his Grandpa’s rifle) made a perfect headshot from about 40 yards on a sow that had just come out of the mud. Good times!
