        We are between San Saba and Lampasas.

        And OP was not clear. We are not giving away the jams and flour, but we are letting people pick as much of the mesquite beans and prickly pear tuna they want. The persimmon berries they can pick if they find a good tree but most are getting to dry.

            I love the nutty flavor of mesquite bean flour. Makes some tasty bread when it's finely sifted. Better than whole wheat store bought. I wonder how it would be in a sour dough mix?

                You need to taste the bean from each tree and only use the sweet ones.
