I built a 7x8 on an old coastal trailer, all I have is an office chair to sit in and lean back and a folding chair to put my feet on. If I’m not comfortable I can sit long.

Just got into a box after 4 decades in a tree. Now I'm wondering if Dish can get me some service.

Go to post 185 or so for pics.

Shooting shelf along bottom of window across front and both sides.

Lower shelves for binos, drinks, etc.

Hooks below shelf at each end and in the front center, to hang backpacks in reach.

Hook high on back wall for hat/coat.

Cheapish rug to catch mud and be replaced every few years.

High shelf out of the way for propane bottles, TP, etc.

I had mom make me some curtains out of blackout material for the back and side windows, to block out light, and adjust viewing areas.

You HAVE to put a urinal in.

          I also add

          Shelves
          Rubber floor
          Hooks
          Light
12V battery with solar to charge phones

With the permanent shelfs, I would also add some fold down shelfs for more options on seating and storage.

Yes, plan is to haul it to lease in panels and build it out there. This was just a dry run. I did a 5x5 this way and was able to assemble it myself on a 5ft platform.

I'd be curious to see some of these solar and battery setups. I have 3 boys to entertain in the blind and while i would prefer them to pay attention, i do allow the non-shooter to bring an Ipad or phone. The green lights and fan would be clutch.

Put things you want to make you comfortable. If you are comfortable, you will stay longer, that is what gets the big ones, or at least gives you some solace from today's world. Time with the kids is even better.
