    I grew up in Hawaii and have known Cam for 2 decades, what he’s done for the Maui community and global paddling community can’t be understated. I’m still trying to wrap my head around the decistation. Cam is an amazing outrigger paddle builder but more importantly an amazing father, husband and follower. They lost their house and business but all of their family got out okay. If you find yourself looking for a way to help someone effected by the wildfires this family could use it

      I was supposed to be there next week to pick up some new paddles. Our girls are the same age so it’s always fun getting them together. Looking forward to long paddle sessions and frying up some pala as soon as they get their feet back under them

        If not wanting to donate to a specific family, here are a couple great places that are helping the locals of Lahaina. I know a lot of TBHers have been to Maui and Hawaii, anything helps. Predatory investors and realtors are already reaching out to people trying to buy their land cheap. Hope they rot for preying in people in a time of crisis


        Maui Food Bank helps to provide hunger relief to those in need by collecting and distributing food to organizations and agencies throughout Maui County.
