    Deer Blind Cordless Fan

I usually sweat my *** off on evening hunts in my blind until it cools off. I`m looking at some cordless fans this year and was wondering what any of you guys were using. I also have concerns about how it will effect scent control?

I already have Dewalt tools and lots of batteries that I wouldn`t have to buy. Not wanting to break the bank either.

I have one of those rechargeable fans that hang around your neck. I’ve used it for a couple years and it make’s a huge difference. Keeps my neck cool and can direct some air onto your face. Easy to carry in my backpack.

I've been using a Domie model TF29-10000 LI that I got from Amazon for the last few years. It will run a long time on a charge and is very quiet plus has three speeds.

I just bought an Artic Air I saw at Home Depot. box said 6hrs on a charge but it only last 2hrs on high. the ice tray doesnt last long so I took a little ice chest to keep it full for the cool mist. It does not work as good as my home made one but is more compact

I have a Dewalt in all my blinds. They work great and the convenience of carrying a spare battery in your backpack and leaving the fan in the blind is nice.

Lotta ways to do it, but the effect is 5X better if you can add ice/cool mist to the game.

I got one of those icy breeze coolers and it works well in the “hunting with kids” ground stand. Wouldn’t want to lug it far but I park right behind this stand.

                I have 2 Ryobi’s in my other stands & they’re ok too.

I seldom hunt in an enclosed blind anymore, but when I do and need a fan, the Dewalt is hard to beat.

I primarily want one for when I`m hunting hogs next month. My bow setup isn`t near a feeder and the hogs rarely come to my hand corn that I use for bowhunting. I`ve been sitting in the only clear shot to my feeder for pigs but it out in the open, in the sun and hot. If I can tolerate sitting in my blind with a small fan, I won`t be educating the deer either or have to worry about the wind. It would also be handy for those opening weekend gun season hunts that are in the 90`s.

Check into a battery operated fan at Walmart for about 20-25 bucks. Run off about 6 or 8 D cell batteries and is very quiet.

I have a 12-volt fan that I have put connectors on the cord so it attaches to a feeder battery. Use it on nighttime hog hunts. All my deer stands are tripods or ladders so can’t use it in them.

I have the DeWalt 20volt (also works on 110V AC) in my Krivomans and in my other enclosed stands. If you can keep the windows open, it works pretty well... I've never experienced a hotter blind than the Krivoman's!! Suckers will put you on a slow bake in the South Texas heat of Oct., and heck, even November!! Last year, after Thanksgiving, it was 96 in the shade...

Anyone tried one of these little 4" Ryobi fans? Reviews online are great but I'm not sure how loud they are. Might go pick one up and try it.

I got one of the generic rechargeable ones on amazon as a gift. Seems to work fairly well and the battery lasts all day on low.
