Some more free advice. I used a top of the line robotic bottom cleaner as well as the best filter system. When the pressure on the filter got to a certain level, I would clean the filters. Overall, I am glad I don't have a pool anymore.

On the rare occasion I'm actually home when he comes by, he's not there for more than 10 min
If he’s only there 10 minutes, you’re getting ripped off.

A good pool boy back in the day, could service your wife, and keep your water crystal clear !
No one wants to do their job anymore, sadly.

I do all our pool maintenance. Partly in hopes that my wife had a pool boy fantasy.

You slap on one of those thong swimsuits like the pool boys wear (you know, the kind that show the outline of your, uhh…piercings), I guarantee you’ll go from hopeful to happy in no time.

Yep, find a new pool service. Ask around your area for a reputable one with good reviews. You are paying for cleaning and chemicals. That means your pool should not look like that. If my pool guy let me pool look like that I'd fire him/her. You are paying for a clean/clear pool. You are not getting what you paid for. Find a new service.
