African Anxiety

Sixth day !
Went after them again, wife put another one down.
Stalked them for about 2 hours, before getting in range for a shot. Rugged mountains on this one.

Sorry for the delay, were up in the mountains, with no service.

Seventh day !
Went back to the mountains for another animal.
Was my turn again. Stalked into 50 yds, boom, another one bites the dust.

Eighth day !
Wife’s birthday, decided to give the animals a rest again,
Went to Pumba lodge for a game drive and dinner.
Super nice place, 5 star food.

Ninth day !
Went after an illusive one today, only to be humbled over and over. Def a major challenge. And couldn’t seal the deal. Grabbed wife right before dark, and let her put another one down. So sad, last hunting day.

Tenth day !
Packed up today, went to the Boardwalk Hotel / Casino in
Port E. Stayed in the nicest room I’ve ever seen, a huge suite. Donated some money to the casino charity, and shopped at the mall, and walked on the beach at
Shark Rock.

Eleventh day !
Sadness has really set in now, as we head to the airport.
We have had a trip that we could have never imagined !
Once again, what a great place, and an amazing adventure.
Now we sit in Port E. , awaiting our departure flight.
Not looking forward to the long journey home, but Vodka and Xanex will get me there happily.
Will give a solid recap of this hunt, with many pics and more deets, once we get home and recoup.
Africa ! If you’ve ever thought about doing it, don’t hesitate.

Eleventh day ! Part 2
Arrived in Joberg from Port E. Got detained by security for having empty rifle cartridges in my luggage. Never realized an empty was still considered ammunition lol. Costed us a little time. Left my wife with little time to shop. She wasn’t happy She finally got a Dr Pepper. And she calmed down. I think she was having withdrawals. Killed a couple Castle Lagers at the gate. Life is good. Fixing board again and head to Doha. I hate travels, but love to hunt. Part of the game I guess.

Eleventh day ! Part 3
Did I mention, I hate traveling,
In Doha, boarded plane.
Got delayed here by security. Have an African souvenir that has a tiny copper spear on it, took 30 mins to get it approved.
Barely caught flight. Been through 2 airports no problem. It is the land of terrorists though. I really need to get back to DFW quick. I hate traveling in foreign lands !!
Especially Sand land.
Come on Texas, the land that I love.
