Anyone have or has used the predator 2000w inverter generator?

I am wanting to purchase a small generator to run a stage light for fishing at night. I have always heard the Honda generator is where it's at. I understand that Honda engines/generators are considered the best but for less than half the cost I could get the predator. Do any of y'all have any experience with them. Likes/dislikes? Thanks for your input.

I have one. Good little gen and pretty quiet compared to my other Predator gens. Easy to get up and running and no frills which is what I wanted.

I've got the 3500w model, its runs like a champ and has been trouble free.

I don't own one, but if I was buying another inverter generator, and cost was a factor, I am going Predator. A friend runs them on his enclosed car hauling trailer, and it's amazing how quiet they are. The are slightly louder than the Honda generator I had, but honestly, it's not worth the price, especially if you are staying within a budget.

Now, if price is no factor, just get a Honda and be done with it.

You can’t go wrong with the Predator generators.

I have two 2000 predator inverters and one predator 3500 inverter. Very happy with them with no issues. I do run Ethanol Free fuel in mine though.

They are fuel efficient as well. I got mine before they started putting on the CO shutoff mess on ‘em now.

I have a parallel kit where I can combine both of my 2000’s and run them together.

I have the 3500 inverter. It's been great. Quiet, efficient, and I can run my AC and microwave on my camper at the same time with it. I will recommend to only use ethanol free gas and you will never have issues,

My buddy has a 2000w inverter predator that has been working fabulously for him for probably 5 years. I can’t remember exactly how long he has had it. Does everything my Honda 2000 does, and way cheaper.

For what it’s worth, my buddy still uses the old Chicago electric 3500w generator that I’m almost positive we got from harbor freight way back in the day before I left in 2010. So he has had it since 2008-2009 and it is still being used for night jetty fishing. He changes the oil regularly and keeps fresh fuel in it and it keeps on trucking. He has got more than his moneys worth from it.

I have the 3500, have not used it much but it starts very easy and very quite

I have the Predator 2000 ...It got me through Snowmageddon keeping my lights on, phones charged and running my gas heater fan/ thermostat keeping us nice and warm through that PITA. Ran and still runs like a champ.

I've been running the 2300 watt A1 Power inverter at camp the last 2 deer seasons with an external 3 gallon gravity tank with no issues at all. Available at Sam's Club for $399.

Wait for a sale and coupons if you can, I got my 3500 for around $500 last year.
