I thought they had it pretty good. It's the lower giving me trouble. Got home and put them in with the adhesive and now the lower is hurting my tongue. I may take Johnny's advise and start whittling on them myself. It feels like it's just some sharp edges. I've got emory cloth, files and a die grinder. Can't get back in until Monday.

Nothing a jeweler's file and some 600 emory cloth can't handle. A little more and will be good to go.

Got it pretty good now. It's just hitting on a couple of stitches. Have to wait for them to come out.

The top one is doing fine. The bottom is giving me fits. It's hitting pretty hard on the inside of my gums and wearing out my tongue. After about 3-4 hours I need a break.

Trauma to your tongue can be miserable! Hope you can get things adjusted and get some relief.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks. One thing that I'm amazed at is how many sharp edges there are. I've been rounding them off and smoothing them. Surface roughness on the whole things is mostly the problem. Just a little filing and smoothing has made a big difference. I've got to learn to leave them alone too. I keep messing with them with my tongue. This is a big mental challenge.

I had the same issue with a crown a few years ago. It’s amazing how even the smallest area of roughness can wreak havoc on your tongue! If you’ve never experienced, I don’t think you can truly understand the misery.

Keep adjusting and filing. I think you’ll get there eventually!

Maybe you missed your calling Randy. Just think of all the money you could have made overcharging folks for ill fitting dentures !

An old friend of mine had all his pulled then didn’t like and wouldn’t wear his dentures and still ate anything he wanted. He could take a bite out of an apple like nobody’s business! He was a crotchety old ******* but funny as hell. Hang in there. When it’s all healed up it’ll be much better

I think right now it is all a mental game. I keep messing with them with my tongue. I need to learn to not think out them. All this crap ain't supposed to be in your mouth!
