    Folk Art Table

Folk Art Table finally completed. There were some mishaps throughout this long build but finally complete and looks amazing. All bottles were drunk by myself back when the only “craft” style beers in TX were St Arnolds, Shiner, and Real Ale. 42 inch wagon wheel rim with wood backer. Painted black and then glued down the caps. Probably have 2.5 gallons of resin in it and it could hold more. I put a flush out pvc in the center to accommodate a market umbrella. Bracketed on to an old whiskey barrel.

Great work! That build took a lot of patience. Do you know how many caps you glued down?

I should add the gold St Arnold caps are off of their Root Beers which my daughter (now in college) drank out at our old hunting property when she was a young un so definitely sentimental value in that.

Now what to do with 15 years worth of wine corks??

I've been keeping bottle caps for years as well. This gives me a great idea that I should stop saving them. I have maybe 1/10 of that amount.

Love it! Great job. Maybe in another 30 years I will have enough for a bar top . . .

I've thought about doing something similar except using rattlesnake rattles I've kept over the years. I don't have enough bottle caps but that would be pretty cool. Neat idea.

                            Thanks for the compliments

Now I feel like an alcoholic lmao. I had a bunch leftover as well lol. Pretty sure it was a decades worth lol and some were others drinking at my place. I left a cigar box open underneath the wall mounted bottle opener on my back porch. I also refused to buy cans during that period.
