Copperheads out tonight

Shot a nice pig at dusk, and then went looking for it, ran into a total of 6 copperheads in 30 minutes. Be careful out there! Not sure why they were running loose tonight.

I was raised in copperhead central and I hate those things
My neighbor just killed a 28” one and I would rather have rattlesnakes.

Told my kids the other night to look out. Locust were EVERYWHERE. Had first kill the next morning, but it was a juvenile cottonmouth

Worst part is that they emit a foul odor after you mess with them and they die
my boots stink!

The other night as I was leaving my pond from fishing and noticed a copperhead by my truck. Now most snakes get a pass from me but not poisonous ones near where my grandkids may be. Put my stuff in truck and started shining my spotlight around. Here is the result in an area about 20ft x20ft around my truck
