We have 3 fields in different locations with sunflowers that need 1 more irrigation. I unfortunately don’t have what it takes to sit there and take money from 200 people. 1 person needs to be responsible for each location. The “pass the hat” at the end of the hunt was the good ole days. Prices of “bought water” & fertilizer changed everything. I’ve never had this many acres in sunflowers before. We also have corn stubble in between sunflower blocks. Counting corn fields in between sunflowers there is a whole lot of dirt. Sunflowers look like they want to be somebody at this moment. I hesitate to solidify anything this early, I have seen birds wait until the last few days to show up. These sunflowers will mature early in this weather

I'm torn on what i'm praying for out of the tropics...almost willing to forsake bird season if we could get falcon filled up. The valley is parched & we are overdue.

Talked to lester again the other day & he still seems to be a player to lease if there are any birds post opening weekends.

Sell $500 two day pigeon and Eurasian hunts. Whitewing are not guaranteed and are just a bonus. And if the indigo snake gets to your downed bird first, just back off and let him enjoy his just reward.
