    Vortex Crossfire?

I am needing a scope for my AR and saw a vortex crossfire on sale for $80 http://www.gearhog.com/?sqs=1&rgsn=2&lgname=Sam. I was thinking about going with a mid level leupold or nikon but if this is comparable I will save about $200 so what do yall think?

I am a fan of Vortex. I shoot their scopes on my competition rifles and on my hunting rifles. That being said, I would suggest that you at least move up the Diamondback series. You can still get into a Diamondback for under $200 and you'll get a better optic. I also believe that the Crossfire only comes with a limited warranty where the Diamondback comes with the VIP warranty.

Vortex are great scope's for the money! Do the same job with a better warranty than most of the big name brand's.

I bought the Vortex crossfire for my wifes gun and had all kind of problems, but Rednek Booda took care of me and we upgraded to the Diamond Back and its a great scope. Good clarity, good light.
