Where to Eat in Port Aransas??

What seafood places do you like?

Kody's is pretty good. Get Dave's Garlic Fish, it's delicious. Kody's is one place we always end up at on our trips down there.

I second the Venetian. Might need reservations, but it’s well worth it.

The above are good but if you don’t mind a ferry ride over. I like the view and food at Paradise Key. Fried calamari is about best I’ve had anywhere. Between Rockport and AP

Fins in Port A is somewhere we always end up when we have a good haul of fish for the cook what you catch deal, great food also if you aren't fishing. At least once a trip we make it back across to Rockport for The Boiling Pot.

Trout street grill is decent as well.

The wife and I visited Port A/Rockport over the holiday wknd. We liked Fins the best of the recommended places. Paradise Key was slammed and the wait was 2-2.5 hrs long. We sat at the bar and were served fairly quick, but service was SLOW!!!! None of the mixed drinks cam out the same as the previously order ones. It took 30-45 minutes to get our tab closed and food paid. We also ate at the boiling pot and was not impressed at all. They were out of blue crab so we settled for 2 snow joints and 1 lbs of shrimp. Everything was over cooked, smothered in a garlic slurry of sorts and way over priced. Yes it was a holiday wknd and EVERYONE was down there, so most places were under staffed, so we rolled with it as best we could without being "that" customer. Hopefully your wknd will be better with it not being a holiday.

Probably no help, but the best we had on our trips was a combo of caught in the bay and purchased locally and grilled at our campsite in Pioneer.

For next time, we come from Rockport by boat mostly and like Grumbles, Fins, Virginias depending on what we want and who has a parking spot. Prefer Grumbles shrimp, Virginias calamari.
