How to search the new site

I’ve been trying to search key words but the search results come up blank. Is there a trick I don’t know about? (unfortunately I can’t research the issue since the search function doesn’t work…)

Step 1) type in key word.
Step 2) type in different key word even though first word should have worked.
Step 3) type in exact title of thread that you know exists only for it to take 3.5 minutes to return 0 results.
Step 4) try to search for thread about searching but can't find it so you start your own.
Step 5) look in thread about Tapatalk status hoping to find info on when they plan to turn it back on.
