Is it just me? Since the updates have taken place. 70% of the time I try to access the site everything takes forever to load. Doesn't matter if I try on my phone or my laptop. It doesn't matter what speed my connection is. Is it related to ongoing maintenance. Is the new site just very slow and clunky? I've really reduced my green screen time because I have to wait longer than it takes me to indulge in the content that's available.

It seems to be slowest at what I would guess are high traffic times. At 8:30 this morning it was brutal.
I have to wonder if the lack of Tapatalk is putting extra strain on the main site, but I don’t know squat about such things. -
I don't have a clue either. And I'm certainly not upset with the updates. I like the layout and the functions available. It is no doubt an upgrade from the old site but man. It literally took me 5 min and 3 attempts just to get the messages to load earlier. Trying to navigate the search function and respond to old posts was another 5 min. I should have been able to do all those tasks in 2-3 min tops. Instead...I just wait...and then wait some more.Comment

Yeah, it is insanely slow. Not useable on my mobile device at all. It works on a regular computer but it feels like "dial up slow".Comment

yes it is slow and it definitely seems to be server side rather than client side. My concern is the apparent bots that seem to be hitting the site and the data they may be scraping. That quantity of traffic would also likely bog down a server that was expected to handle 5,000 users at once, not 5 MILLION
