Wife’s wanting a new vehicle looking at a Sequoia or Highlander. Anybody know any dealerships giving any good deals. Live south of Houston. Have no problem traveling for the right deal.

Since you said you're able to travel to get your next vehicle - Autotrader.com has become my goto. Shop nation wide for the best deals & then decide if the travel is worth it. Found our last 2 new ones this way. Wife's car last August was 3.5 hours away. My truck in 2021 was about 12 hours away, but the dealership had a 'bring it to you' policy which meant they got it 250 miles closer, so the drive was about 8 hours. Never had to step foot in the dealership or suffer through waiting to see the finance guy (aka, the Real Salesman). Paperwork all done online. Saved thousands on each vehicle, so the time spend on the road was worth it.
Word of caution - many dealers put 'to good to be true' deals on there & then won't actually sell it at that price. You will encounter that.

Me and my wife have owned several Toyota vehicles. My wife currently has a 2001 Sequoia with almost 500k and last year decided she wanted a new Sequoia. Talked to a bunch of dealers in Houston and surrounding area. We went to a dealership and ordered a Sequoia in Sept. 2022 and are still waiting for it. And when I say we ordered one, they would not let you spec one out. All you could do was provide a color and package (SR5, Limited, Platinum, ect) and if a Sequoia came in that met your criteria they would call you to come look and decide if you were going to buy or pass. Also they cannot tell you when they will receive a Sequoia that meets your criteria. My wife has stayed on top of new arrivals at quite a few dealerships every month from the point that she ordered a new one. Well two weeks ago we made the decision that she needs a vehicle now and we are not going to wait any longer, 10 months is plenty long. Last week we found a Ford Expedition that was similar to the Sequoia she ordered and we made a deal on it and saved ourselves around 10K for the same vehicle. Good luck to you and I certainly hope you have a better experience with Toyota than we did.
