Kubota l6060 3rd function to new grapple issues

I purchased this tractor new in march and I had the bota 3rd function installed for a couple different implements. I’ve never used the 3rd function until I hooked it up to my new grapple Friday . My tractor is equipped with flat face couplers which made it a quick connection to the grapple. The issue I’m having is that the grapple will open up with full pressure but it clamps down with almost gravity fed pressure, I doubt it would crush a leaf! The female coupler on the loader side was a bit sticky / rough feeling so I purchased an American made replacement that is very smooth and super easy to connect but that didn’t fix the problem! Yes- I’ve been on orange tractor talk but I’m not getting any where there so I thought I would hand this curveball over to the green screen!

Hmmm, can’t help but I just bought a grapple too and haven’t hooked it up yet as I’m gonna have to have some more hose length. I’ll follow this though, interested in the solution.

Sounds like the close solenoid is not working right. Try swapping the connectors where you would take the loader off. Should be two pioneer couplers by where the 4 couplers for the loader connectors are the white red yellow blue caps. If it opens weak the valve is bad.

I know, your good with the help you always offer. To far away for me to use this dealer, I use Rucker Kubota, like I ever need parts.
