    2015 f250 6.7 question

Know someone about to list one with 108k miles. It's in great condition and a reasonable price. Any feedback on these? Concern, common problems, etc.?

I have 2012 with right at 300k miles and still runs like a champ. Only major money spend was a few months ago rebuilding the front in suspension at 275k.You can't go wrong with the 6.7 Leland. I just make sure and do regular maintenance on it and you should be good to go.

Thanks Will. Really considering this truck. Sounds like I'm 2nd in line but first person may not be able to get financing.

but was about to buy my son a car. Don't know if I want 2 payments. I could always give him my f150 but that means I still have to fix it to pass emissions tests though.

An 8 year old 6.7 with 108k miles? I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. My 2017 6.7 is the best vehicle I've ever owned. I used to trade in trucks every two years until I got this one. I reckon I'll drive it until the wheels go square. I haven't had any issues. We do have a few in our fleet that needed front end work around the 250k mark, but I'll take that considering they spend a lot of time on rough graded jobsites. Getting 300k+ out of our 6.7 trucks now and we sure didn't get that out of the 6.0 or 6.4. I'm a big fan of the 6.7.

Thanks Curt. My f150 needed front end work at 260k but I assume that's normal wear and tear.

Now to get the loan on it. USAA has 2015 and older as an "older" vehicle rates which are 3% higher than newer used cars. I'll get approved for whatever but just hate that they consider this an older car and raise rate by that much. Guess I'll be shopping around since chase doesn't do private purchase loans and usaa has an extra 3%.

I have a 2016 6.7 that has been a fantastic truck. I have put about 90K of the 165k total miles on it and it has been solid. The CP4 fuel pump is the weak point on these trucks, but now there are solutions for that (disaster prevention kit, extra filtration, and the new S&S DCR pump replacement). I did have a freak oil cooler failure a couple of months ago that led to me replacing the entire primary cooling system. That is the only major thing that has happened to my truck, and it is extremely rare. The truck has been great and still drives as good as the day I got it!
