    Wet Spring, Dry Summer- Anthrax

    Been on my mind.
I was at the lease (Kinney county, in that triangle) last week getting feeders and cameras re-going.
I didn’t see anything dead or buzzards flying.

What I have noticed is my front stand ( the better “looking “ set up) is so far void of deer, one straggler on camera twice.
My back stand is 1.47 miles away and has plenty of deer on it.

I hope they are just content with natural browse (still kinda green out there) , but if that were the case why are the deer in the back heavy on my corn….

There was a decent herd on the front feeder up until the corn went dry.

This ranch was skipped over with the last large Anthrax outbreak, hope that continues to be the case this year.

Ps, I’m not feeding a lot- just enough to get deer on camera.
