Need a Welder, Cedar Creek and Bastrop area

I need to raise my 14 wide metal gate a couple of inches for more ground clearance. I have a set of pallet forks on my tractor and can lift the gate to get it off the metal post. The gate is hung with what appears to be a two part hinge, one welded to the gate and the other to the post. We are in Cedar Creek between 535 and 812 on High Grove Rd.
Also, a question. We have a Patriot 1 automatic gate and I assume I would need to disconnect the battery as the electrical components in the gate would not take kindly to the welding current.

Went to the local metal store and asked if they knew someone who does small jobs. He handed me a card and as soon as I saw the name I remembered he and his son fixed an tractor implement about 15 years ago. Went to his shop and they are coming monday to look and give me a estimate. I need to start writing chit down but would probably forget where I put it. Thanks BushHawg for the message.
