What a disappointment. The Indian artifact post had an insane amount of Garguy’s knowledge. This new forum is had to navigate.

We can barely get the whole forum to work most the time. Don't get your hopes up on a search function.

They need a permanently under construction banner across the top.

Search works. There’s an open circuit between the seat and the keyboard you have to fix.

Try this…
1) click on the down arrow just to the left of the magnifying glass by the search box.
2) select the advanced search option
3) in the keyword box enter your search term
4) in the sources box, select the forum you wish to search. (older version did this automatically defaulting to all open forums, new version has no default or selection that's why the searches come up empty)

Not only can I not find with search the "my recent posts" doesn't even have all my recent posts.

What I am finding is all of these how too's work. Sort of. Saying that because they give results just not that many and accuracy is questionable a lot. If it finds what your lookin, good but that is a small percentage guaranteed. It seems not all of the database is available and sometimes it finds older stuff sometimes not. Same with recent stuff.

Didn't work for two different known threads. But found one thread from 2008 on a search.

People act like this is the only forum we use. Im on like 5 forums an rhis is by far the most cumbersome format. What happened to a box you type words in and hit the search button on the main page like the rest of the forums?
