Help please -Chippewa snake boot sizing

I purchase most of my kicks online but these have me stumped! Reviews on the true size are frustrating ! So , what has been your fit experiences ?

    The boot I want:

Depends entirely on which model of boot your buying

Had to go 1 size up when I bought mine.

I bought a used pair from someone on TBH a few years ago - pull on, no zipper. I have worn 8.5 shoes since junior high. These boots were 9.5 and I could barely get them on.
I passed them on to my son.

I think the answers you'll get will be all over the board here, like most shoe/boot questions. Really depends on the shape of your foot and what's comfortable to you specifically.

I wear a 12 in running shoes. I drop to an 11 for most hiking/hunting boots. I think my chips were either an 11.5 or 12. It really just depends.

            Good luck

My Chips are true to size (10.5).

That being said, I hated them for the first several wears due to them being uncomfortable. Now that they are broken in, I love them and they fit great.

I have the no zipper ones. I wear a 12D in pretty much everything. I went with 11.5W in my chips.

highly recommend a zipper. When I wear them for 8-10 hours they are haarrrrd to get off. And impossible to get back on till they dry out lol.

I would suggest to go to a local store and try them on and then if you find them cheaper online then purchase them online.

I have worn Chips for years.... Probably on my 4-5th pair. They tend to run normal for me but I always buy a half size up because I wear them year round with heavy socks. They have come in handy since I tend not to watch where i am stepping when in the field and had several close encounters with Mr. No Shoulders..... I also wear them when hunting in winter for a couple of reasons. 1 - Once broken in they are the most comfortable boot I have worn 2 - They are warm and 3 - I spend a large amount of time on the ground hunting, moving, stalking, rattling, etc. and I don't have to worry about thorn, or cactus when walking or if I have to hit the dirt quickly!

Like others said I think you will be best going and trying them on. I wanted to like them but they just don't fit my feet. I have bought 2 or 3 pairs in different sizes and even after wearing them a good while they never broke in to fit my feet.

I had a pair of the mock toe chipps, they ran a little big. Prolly 1/2 a size down

The regular old viperhide , non zipper, cowboy toe....I'd go up 1/2 size
