    Tactacam Reveal help

    When using the monthly plan, assuming it goes from initial setup date to the appx date the next month (30 days). So if you want to cancel for a few months or any time, do you have to wait for the same date to start up back? Or does it reset to start over when reactivating? I know there has to be a down time to prevent cancelling/reactivating on a weekly basis etc. I'm just not sure at what point to cancel when I know I have an upcoming extended time I don't need it.

    I have three of them and I can stop and start the subscription for each individual camera whenever I want. It remembers each camera whenever I want to start one back up. Hope this helps.

      Just go into your camera settings. You can cancel and restart any time you want. Not sure if it’s prorated or not though. I’ve never cancelled or suspended mine

        Thanks. Guessing if you can stop and start any time it must pro rate if between a full month cycle. I just wasn't sure if it locked you out until your initial start date to keep it on the same date monthly cycle. It's not really too important, I plan to run it except from Jan-May.

          I was told a long time ago with the Gen 1 tactacams to never de-activate them by Tactacam customer service. They instructed me to suspend the camera and this would stop the service. I have done this multiple times and turned them back on whenever needed and never had any problems. I have not paid enough attention to the bill to see if they pro-rate it when I cancel.
